New Characters

The Torn Universe is quickly developing around us and as such a few new characters will be popping up here and there. Here's a quick bust of one of my favorites. He's seriously awesome and I can't wait to tell everybody more.

Haven't Kept Up!

Welp, I have not kept up with this blog like I wanted to. Two demanding projects one after another kicked me in the ass. So much to catch up on.

First off, Torn Comics has officially released its first publication. A collection of horror comics titled "Twist in the Night". A number of severely talented folks helped put this sucker together and we're getting a lot of great feedback from it. Thanks to everyone who's picked one up and gave us their thoughts.

I did a 12 page story called "Harbinger" by Dave Disspain (seriously talented writer) which came out better than I could have thought possible. Its a World War II ghost story with a great twist at the end. Here's a few pages from that.

I am also very happy to announce that my own personal character The Mechanic is next on my plate for the graphic novel treatment. This is my pet project and I'll be working extra hard on it to get it just right. My very good friend and powerhouse comic writer Jeff Aden wrote the script and did a phenomenal job. Very soon I'll begin posting web comics that will introduce Mechanic and his world to all of those who may not know much about him.

Torn Comics always has a trick up its sleeve so keep on the lookout for some surprises from us in the near future.

Thanks everybody,
Bryce

Fixer!

Here's a page out of the first chapter of The Fix. I'm really very proud of it which is rare for me. I'll be putting more pages online when I can get copies without the text, don't want to give away any plot just yet.

Society Comics!

My very good and talented friend Jeff Aden approached me with a script of his titled "The Fix" nearly a year ago now and asked me to be the artist. I've completed 22 pages in that time, a horrifically slow pace for a comic, but its a great sense of accomplishment none the less. I'm very proud of the work I've done on the book so far and can't wait to punch in to the next chapter. Hopefully I can get permission to throw a few non reveal pages up for all to see, I'm eager to show it off.

But getting back to the topic in the title Jeff, my ridiculously talented wife Jenn, and myself have started our own comic label. Society Comics! Its going to be a place for new creators to get their work published when it might not be what the big folks are looking to publish at the moment. We'd be happy to hear ideas from folks that are serious about making comics. All rights for all characters stay with the creator, we just want to help folks make their ideas into reality. Any questions can be directed to me at commissar730@yahoo.com. We have a good number of Original Graphic Novels in the works and can't wait to share more info about them....soon as I see what all I can talk about.

Stay cool folks, thanks for reading.

Sketch card of The Fixer from the OGN by Jeff Aden and myself. He's perty ain't he? Fixer here is the hero of our little story.
